Tattooine

I was just looking at some of my older blog posts – I know I haven’t been updating, for some reason neither blogspot nor wordpress loads from home (we are really contemplating changing our internet service provider since that isn’t the only problem we are having at the moment) – Anyway I came across this one about pixel illustrations of the star wars characters and it reminded this video so here you go:

As a bonus (and for an apology for being absent for a long while, here is a great illustration from Ulises Farinas, also featuring Tattooine. (click on the image for the hi-res version)

pixel Star Wars!

So, some months ago I watched all of the Star Wars movies starting with episodes IV, V, VI and then I, II and III. In a few days, because I didn’t have the time to do a marathon and frankly, my eyes are already -7 degrees. I had watched IV, V and I before but I never had time to watch the whole series, and I guess I just love how the series play out. esp III, but II was boring as hell. Anyway, because I am making a pixel game for my graduation project, I look at a lot of stuff other people do, so here are Andy Rash‘s pixel Star Wars characters! I love all of them, especially the details where he made the arm – cutting cliché ^^

A Star Wars Vision by Enki Bilal

Enki Bilal is a French comic book creator, comics artist and film director. I have known about him since last year, when one of my friends lent me one of his comic books named The Black Order Brigade (Les Phalanges de l’Ordre Noir) and I really like his illustration style, so I was very surprised to discover that he made an illustration for Star Wars. I don’t really have much information about this particular illustration though, but it seems like it’ll be part of a book that will be published in the fall of 2010.
